Digweed did not disappoint - Massive, Massive Set. Whoever belives that Digweed has lost it musically is full of shit. Diggers set last night @ SKY was the *best* set I've ever heard, period.Avi and I got there early as we really wanted to check out MSTRKRFT, the openers for Digweed as part of the Diamonds tour. Was a bit sceptical on how MASTRKRFT a live band would fit as an opener for Digweed. MSTRKRFT's set was more electro-housey (expected) and they rocked it. Highlight track for me was Buy Now - For Sale, that breakdown is just insane. I'm excited to see these guys at Coachella this year.
Digweed got on the decks @ 12:30 and launched straight into the "Diggers Vortex" as I call it :). The beats kept getting better and better in classic digweed style, the mixing was tiiiighhttt - he is once smooth muthafucka on the decks. Standout tracks for me were Antena - Camina del Sol (Joakim Remix) (Sounds fucking massive on a huge system), Williams - Shivering (Pitch and Hold Mix). Highlight of the night , G-Stylz - I need your love - the crowd just went MENTAL!!! especially when the vocals kicked in - I need your love, I need your love, I need your love....
